My family and I (hubby and 2 girls 6 & 8) currently live in Paul Smiths (at the college) and are moving to LP permanently next year. So when I was telling Holly about my doula interest she sent me your way! I was interested what you thought about the need and/or desire for doulas in the north country recognizing the communities are rural and very spread out. While I personally think doula are amazing, I'm hesitant to commit to the work not knowing if there is a market. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for all your great work - can't wait to read more. Anyway, was very pleased to see that you are ligit and a fellow Potsdam alum---I, too, attended for only a year. (I was spending waaay too much $ at the local pizzeria and pubs---so transferred back to my hometown of Buffalo. Glad you aren't scamming---and look forward to getting more of your emails and learning about internet marketing. Some friends and I are starting a business and need any and all advice.(we're all older moms of highschool age kids) PS-we camp every summer up in Blue Mt.
